Royal Academy Summer Exhibition The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (13th June to 20th August) is the world’s largest open submission exhibition, and this is year co-coordinated by David Remfry RA on the theme of ‘Only Connect’, from E.M. Forster’s Howard’s End: “Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon. Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted, and human love will be seen at its height. Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition
You’ll have to be quick to catch the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition, which is running until the 11th of June. Convened by Stuart Mackenzie RSA, assisted by Paul Stallan RSA, this year New Blood Art offerings are as follows:

Freelands Foundation Painting Prize
The Freelands Foundation Painting Prize celebrates outstanding undergraduate painting. Enormous congratulations to this years’ New Blood winners Agelos Kotzias, Edward Jones and Sean Davidson. These artists will be exhibiting this autumn at the Painting Prize exhibition at the Freeland Foundation’s Chalk Farm Gallery Space.
In other fantastic news for New Blood artists, Annie Donaldson has been selected for the Scottish Society of Artist’s Annual Exhibition as well as receiving a Boom Graduates Publishing Contract, an Edinburgh Palette Residency and being shortlisted for Visual Arts Scotland Graduate Showcase.
