Lorena Levi and Adam Boyd are both Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2022. This is a fantastic achievement for these emerging artists, marking a really exciting moment of recognition and opportunity for their work. Bloomberg New Contemporaries has been supporting artists transitioning from education into a sustainable long-term practice since 1949 – and has highlighted the work of such luminaries past and present as Chris Ofili, Frank Auerbach, Paula Rego, David Hockney and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
Lorena received her MA in Fine Art last year from Edinburgh College of Art, and this time last year we tipped her for investment – check out our interview with the artist. Adam Boyd graduated from his MFA in painting from the Slade this summer and has already had multiple solo shows; visit his artist page to see his available work. Both artists are currently showing in Hull and will be going to South London gallery in December as part of the New Contemporaries exhibition. Congratulations to these two talented artists!
