Lewis Deeney graduated in 2020 and was selected as one of eight outstanding 2020 graduates across the UK to receive the prestigious Freelands Painting Prize. Lewis also received the William Sangster Phillips award and full funding from the University of Dundee, allowing him to continue his Fine Art studies at Masters level.
We knew when we first saw Lewis’ work that he was a very gifted emerging artist and that it would not be long before his prices increased. Lewis is now gaining attention from physical galleries and will have gallery representation in the next few weeks (he will also continue to show with NewBloodArt). His prices will see a 30% increase on this Monday, 8th February – and I expect this to be the first of many increases we will see as the years unfold and demand for his work increases..
