So much good news to share from our artists! From selection for the RA Winter (not Summer this year) Exhibition, to inclusion at RSA New Contemporaries, Freelands Painting Prize, Derwent Drawing Prize, Wells Contemporary, The John Moores Prize… and the list goes on! See below a range of recent achievements: Lewis Deeney has been selected for the Freelands Painting Prize, a very well respected prize, selecting just 8 outstanding graduates from across the UK. Lewis has also been awarded the William Sangster Phillips award – a fund that will cover the tuition fees for his master’s course at DJCAD as well as providing him with a living cost bursary. Dominic Matthews, Athena Anastasiou, Orlanda Broom and Margaret Ashman have all been accepted for the RA Winter show. Fanny Arnesen and Malin Cederlund have been selected for RSA New Contemporaries. Sarah Shaw and Orlanda Broom have been selected for the Wells Art Contemporary. Janine Hall has been selected for the Derwent Drawing Prize and the Society of Women Artists 2020. Iain Andrews and Ruth Richmond were both selected for the Trinity Buoy Wharf drawing prize – (ex Jerwood drawing prize).Hesi Glowacki and Abby Wright have work on show at Saatchi Gallery London in ‘Grads Now’, running until 11th October.Steve Burden and David Rae are both through to stage 2 of the John Moores Prize.
