Zoe Hoare’s work will be seeing price increases this week – at midnight on Wednesday, her mid-scale sculptural reliefs will increase from £1,200 to £2,000 and her larger scale piece ‘Light Bridge’ will increase from £1,600 to £5,000.
This increase is due to the fact that her work is going to be exhibited with a gallery who will be selling her work at increased prices and as always artists must maintain price parity. It’s also fair to say her work is currently undervalued, especially given the time and processes involved in creating these technically complex sculptural pieces – Light Bridge is significantly larger than other works at 190cm x 141cm. Zoe Hoare’s sculptural reliefs are made using cut paper – to make sculptural assemblages, set within a wooden frame, behind a frosted Perspex screen.. she is working with themes of duality and illusion with the screen diffusing the sculpture beneath and forcing it to become visually two dimensional – her work offers a representation of the complexities of modernity.
It’s a good time to invest – all work can be purchased using an interest free OwnArt loan (UK residents) select OwnArt at the checkout. We have only 2 pieces remaining now.
