NewBlood artists expressed an interest in donating art to assist humanitarian efforts in Ukraine under current conditions of war; artist Ed Saye had the idea that we provide a collective space on NewBloodArt to facilitate this artist-led initiative.
Collected here are the works donated by artists. When sending their artworks in support, artists have spoken of their personal connection to the events in Ukraine, whether it be an artist with relatives originally from the country, or an artist in Germany who is currently sharing their home with seven Ukrainian refugees.
Money used to purchase any of these works will go to the Disaster Emergency Committee Ukraine appeal, no commission will be taken. The British government has promised to match all donations to the DEC. 10% will go to Glib Franko and his young family, a NewBlood masters artist from and based in Ukraine. If you would rather donate directly to the DEC, feel free to do so; take a screenshot of your donation to send to us, and we will then send you the artwork of your choosing.
