New Artist: Lindsay Mapes

I am concerned with the visual and conceptual aspects of erasure, obfuscation, obstruction and secrecy. My work is largely autobiographical – borne from memories, conversations and experiences. By withholding or obscuring elements whilst leaving “hints” for the viewer in each of my works, I am investigating the notion of secrecy and how relationships are formed and shaped around “the hidden.” (read more via Lindsay’s page…)
