New Artist: Christian Neuman

My constructed objects refer to paintings in a broader sense. I am interested in pushing the limits as to how far my objects can still be considered paintings. There is a punk attitude underlying my work. One important aim is the continuous search for a consistent aesthetic linking all work, and materialising the philosophical thought process that stands as the initial motor behind the work. There is a nihilistic sense of world perception seeking to be materialised in the work.
