My process is mainly a diary of decisive moments I capture with my camera which sometimes ends up in a series of symbolic paintings that reflect socio-political connotations of current affairs and some others explores everyday scenes in general. The fact that I perceive myself as a flaneur (from French flâneur, from flâner “to stroll, loaf, saunter,”) drives me to consider my practice as the result of constant observation of the everyday life and a process to feel and understand my surroundings. In addition, through the juxtaposition of images I am trying to explore the human nature within the society. When it comes to the medium of my depictions, the use of the photo paper completes my visual trip in a way that creates a relationship between my visual experience and the photography and at the same time connects my memory with my bodily expression in terms of painting.
