Some great shows are on this month in London, Leeds and Stockport, bringing the opportunity to see artists’ work curated. It’s always exciting to see their work and how its presented: marking a new stage in their trajectories as exhibiting artists. The wave of recognition will feedback into new opportunities for each artist, as dialogue with their work in the art world continues.
This month you can see:
Nan Collantine featuring in an exhibition of four painters at the new Mura Ma Art Space in Stockport from January 20th January to February 25th. Titled ‘Edgelessness’, the exhibition is of contemporary painting.
David Rae’s work in a group show ‘Hinterland’ at Cromwell Place, London, opening January 17th.
Clementine Eastwood still on display at HM Electric in Notting Hill until the end of the month.
And Julia Pomeroy will be hosting a five-week long life drawing class at Tetley Brew Wharf in Leeds’ South Bank, beginning January 15th.
