Our mission at New Blood Art is to identify the best emerging artists, introduce their work to the press and public and to help them establish careers as professional artists. We have a number of examples of artists who have gone on to sign agreements with well-respected galleries and who are now flourishing. Iain Andrews to Man & Eve, David Wightman to Halcyon.. Of course it’s an added bonus from an investment point of view for those customers who collected these artists when their work was relatively affordable – they both now sell for significant 5 figure sums.
It is now time for the brilliant Bartosz Beda to fly, he will be leaving New Blood Art on Christmas day. We discovered Bartosz just 2 years ago in Manchester at his BA show and he quickly caught the attention of collectors, curators and journalists – selling-out on a number of occasions. He was selected for Catlin Guide 2012 as one of the most promising UK emerging artists, he then completed his MA in Fine Art – again at Manchester and went on to complete a scholarship at Dresden Academy of Art, Germany where he dedicated his time to painting under the tutelage of Prof. Christian Sery. Bartosz was selected for Saatchi New Sensations 2012 and in the same year won the painting prize at the National Open Art Competition for the Best in North of England. He was interviewed by Axis and AN Magazine and featured in The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times, The Creative Times and Radio 4 as one to watch. His work is in many private collections all over the world. We wish him all the best with this exciting next chapter of his career. If you wish to invest in a piece by Beda – do so now, we have a number of works available until midnight on December 25th. Available works can be viewed here
