Art Consultancy

We offer both art advisory and consultancy services, curating collections of original art for clients from our roster of emerging artists, as well as advising on the acquisition of more established names.

The gallery is always excited to undertake bespoke curating projects for individuals, family homes, offices, architects, development projects, hotels… Anywhere really, where spaces require bringing alive. We can visit you in person to do the entirety of your project or consult online or telephone for smaller projects.

Curating original art for you, and with you
Curating begins with a conversation. Our director Sarah, with her two decades experience in seeking out original art by brilliant emerging artists, can provide as much or as little input in the conversation as suits. Happily overseeing an entire project, or sending selections of contemporary art for you to choose from.

Sometimes the artwork itself begins the dialogue: clients or interior designers will on occasion work outwards from an exceptional painting to design a room.

Celebrated interior designer endorsements
Some fantastic interior designers have spoken in the press of New Blood as a place to seek out original art. These include Fiona Barratt, who has designed around the world, and Sophie Ashby (who mentioned us in Vogue). Studio Ashby is known for putting art at the centre of design projects.

Abigail Ahern – “One of the world’s most exciting designers” according to W magazine, whose projects include the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach –has mentioned the gallery as a “go to source for emerging art”.

“Thanks to New Blood Art for its suggestions on where to buy affordable art in Elle Decoration. My suggested No1 place to start? Them!”

Michelle Ogundehin as Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decoration UK.

Embarking on a contemporary art project: what next?
As mentioned, we take on projects of all ranges, large or small. It can also be abroad: Sarah has helped with projects from Verbier to London (confidentiality is a given when designing interiors). New Blood artists are on display in yachts, restaurants and hotel bars – as well as public collections and galleries, and many seasonal exhibitions in London, the UK and internationally.

It’s not only those show-stopping, monumental works that we can advise on – though we love to curate those. Once a client in the US got in touch about wanting to fill two tiny spaces in her home. Nooks as well as centre points to a room can host an artwork.

A grand lobby, or an intimate, semi-concealed space, and for all palettes: we have an exceptional and changing range of work on display at the gallery, and would be delighted to share it with you, advising on how to navigate the collection and choose the right pieces for structuring your space.

On our blog you can see artworks in collectors’ homes.

Get in touch with any thoughts, ideas or questions at info@newbloodart.com and we can start a conversation.

We enjoy working with interior designers and property developers on art consultancy for residential projects and hotels as well as working with businesses and corporations. There’s no project too big, small or unusual.

Pricing & Fees
Our on-site consultation fees range from £500 to £2,000, depending on the scale of the project and travel requirements. This consultation fee is offset against artwork purchased through New Blood Art within 12 months of the consultation. Additional services such as framing, delivery, and installation are available at an additional cost, tailored to your specific needs.

Original Art as an Investment

Original art – of the rigorously curated quality on display at this gallery – differs from other elements of a design project, doubling as an investment, as talented emerging artists go on to be recognised and their work increases in value.

Collecting emerging art can present an opportunity for considerable capital appreciation – (see investable art on the blog) and read more about investing in emerging art with New Blood Art here:
