Original mixed media painting on Bockingford watercolour paper (425gm/sq m), white matt surface, acid free. Structura is a paste applied to the surface of the paper to provide some texture as part of the painting process.

"'I saw this' (Jurassic Coast) is placed at Sheldon near Teignmouth, South Devon. I paint places where I have an emotional connection and can explore ideas from personal history to classical references to the process of painting itself. This part of South Devon has may personal connections. It is an original mixed media work in gouache, pastel, graphite and ink on structura ground."
