My work explores mental health, resilience, transformation, and human connection through painting, installation, sculpture, and poetry. Drawing on personal experience, I create emotionally charged works that balance vulnerability with hope, often using symbolism, vivid colour, and layered visual narratives to examine the complexities of the human mind.
A recurring theme in my practice is the relationship between struggle and healing. My work reflects ideas of rebirth, self-discovery, loyalty, and survival, informed by both personal journeys and wider social contexts. Through expressive imagery and surreal elements, I aim to create spaces where viewers can reflect on their own emotions and experiences while finding moments of connection and empathy.
I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in Fine Art in 2022. Since then, my work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Brazil, Portugal, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Glasgow. Recent achievements include being shortlisted for the Batsford Art Prize and the Hope Exhibition at the National Justice Museum.
Across my practice, I am interested in how art can transform pain into something meaningful and visually powerful. Whether through cosmic imagery, symbolic figures, or emotionally driven compositions, I aim to create work that encourages reflection, conversation, and emotional openness.
