Steve Burden graduated from Goldsmiths College, London with a First Class Honours and Bath Spa University with a Masters Degree in Fine Art (distinction) in 2016. The month following his graduation, Steve won the Black Swan Arts Open Prize – securing a solo show with the piece Abattoir (this piece is available for sale via NewBloodArt) which will go on tour this year to a number of museums and galleries across the country including – Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Falmouth Art Gallery, The Wilson in Cheltenham and Poole Museum – Steve Burden will certainly be gaining much attention over the coming year. Abattoir is currently available for £4,000, a figure which is set to double in the coming week (with all of Steve’s work set to increase in price after his next show – ends 14 Feb).. Abattoir can be bought now, ahead of Steve’s solo show (opening next Thursday), for this undervalued price, because of the fact that any buyer will need to wait around 12 months to take receipt of the work.. when it well then have completed its tour.. it will of course be insured etc during its public tour.
Steve has 2 solo shows scheduled this year.. the first opens next Thursday at The Roper Gallery in Bath and he has been so much in demand that he’s declined exhibiting with 2 other galleries.. so, it’s clearly a good time to invest. See a selection of available paintings below and view all Steve’s work here.
