Congratulations to Jan Wanat who has been longlisted for this years Contemporary British Painting Prize. This year the prize had the largest ever number of entries and just 60 artists have been forwarded to the shortlisting stage. We wish Jan luck with the next selection stage and we’ll keep you posted!

Congratulations to Isaac Aldridge, Evie Banks and Lewis Deeney who have all had work selected for this years Visual Art Open Award. NB: Isaac starts his MA at Glasgow this year and Lewis will be holding his first solo show next month, in October – he is also through to the semi-finals of The Artist Lounge – Artist of the Year Award.

Lorena Levi, was awarded the Astaire prize 2021 from Edinburgh university and has now been shortlisted for the Young Contemporaries Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy 2023.
