He was nominated by his tutor for our <a tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"https:\/\/newbloodart.com\/blog\/new-blood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emerging Art Prize<\/a> and awarded the prestigious RSA John Kinross Scholarship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He has already held two solo exhibitions and been selected for RSA New Contemporaries in Edinburgh (2026).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">His painting\u00a0Adrift\u00a0was chosen to promote the Degree Show (24 May &#8211; 1 June), and featured on flags across the campus. Shortly afterward graduation, Speedy was invited to show in\u00a0Don\u2019t Look Back\u00a0at Unit London during Frieze week &#8211; the exhibition included Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, Polly Morgan, Richard Billingham, Thomas J Price, Richard Wilson, George Shaw, Mark Titchner, Caroline Achaintre, and other significant figures in contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">These are major early markers of recognition and momentum, and for this reason Speedy moves directly into our <a tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"https:\/\/newbloodart.com\/masters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Masters<\/a> section.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We have four paintings by Tom Speedy available.
