She\u2019s a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/newbloodart.com\/masters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Blood Art Master<\/a>, and has just received a flurry of fantastic news, marking further recognition of her achievement by industry professionals and industries. <br>\u00a0<br>She\u2019s been shortlisted for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.contemporarybritishpainting.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contemporary British Painting Prize<\/a>. Founded in 2016, this prize \u201cexplores and promotes current trends in British painting\u201d. The shortlisted winners will have exhibitions in Huddersfield and London; the overall winner will receive much more. Good luck Lindsay!\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Her work featured and sold in the Royal Academy Summer show this year.\u00a0She\u2019ll be adding new work from that series, and will be available to\u00a0acquire\u00a0soon.\u00a0There&#8217;s a\u00a0brilliant array of works on show at the moment; you can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/newbloodart.com\/artist\/lindsay-mapes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">browse here.<\/a><br>\u00a0<br>More good news is that the artist has been awarded a year long mentorship at We The Muse from Artist Support Pledge. This is to mentor selected artists\u00a0to:\u00a0&#8220;push you out of your comfort zone, and establish you in a sustainable practice that takes you to the next level.\u201d We\u2019re excited to see what work emerges in this next chapter of her career.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Lindsay also has two new exhibitions happening in the autumn \u2013\u00a0we\u2019ll keep you updated.
