In her final year (2020) at Wimbledon, University of the Arts London,\u00a0Louisa\u00a0was awarded the Prunella Clough Legacy Commission Prize. Her spectacular\u00a0large-scale piece\u00a0was revealed in June 2021,\u00a0to be permanently installed at the college\u2019s reception.\u00a0

For her exquisite charcoal drawings Zuzanna Salamon was awarded: the Hermione Hammond Drawing Award at the New English Art Club Annual Exhibition (June 2021, Mall Galleries London), the Velvet Easel Gallery Award (June 2021, Paisley Art Institute), and the de Laszlo Foundation Prize \u2013 Highly Commended (April 2021, Mall Galleries).\u00a0

The brilliant Alice Miller\u00a0also reached the finals of\u00a0The Signature Art Prize<\/a>\u00a0last year.\u00a0Her photorealist paintings mimic the heightening of our senses; viewers are invited to experience the youth, fun, and rich intimacy of her contemporary subjects \u2013\u00a0always tinged with an element of risk.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted to share the news that three exceptional NewBlood artists have been shortlisted for the Royal Society for British Artists <\/a>Rising Star Award.\u00a0Louisa Clark<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0Zuzanna Salamon<\/a>, and\u00a0Alice Miller<\/a> are all recently graduated\u00a0practitioners working with\u00a0impressive technical ability and carving out a\u00a0unique\u00a0style for themselves. On the back of this news\u00a0and these\u00a0qualities \u2013 as well as previous awards \u2013\u00a0we are tipping these three emerging artists as particularly investable.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Their works will be on display in London as part of the award, which involves a residency in Rome at the Sala Uno arts centre in the heart of the city. The\u00a0selection of shortlisted artists by the society \u201cmaps the trajectory of what is yet to come in contemporary art practice\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
