Photographer Cosmo Coughlin documents his encounters in a style reminiscent of the great Ansel Adams. Both artists seem to approach the creation of a photograph with the desire to create cinematic impact, as Adams said “You don't take a photograph, you make it…”
Coughlin’s modernist choices – such as the motif of the open road also calls to mind David Hockney’s photo montages.. which demonstrated a rebellious and diverse take on photography and like Coughlin show a fascination for movement and time.
