The Date

"The painting is like a coaster, a clue, evidence of that night. 

I wanted to reference Rorschach’s ink blotch tests.  I wanted to create what at first looked like a spill on a coaster or tablecloth but was in fact an image.

I remember a drunken date in my 20s. He was handsome and glamorous. I don’t think he thought the same."
