Lamentation

'Lamentation', is an original painting in gouged acrylic on board. “Using repeated gestures, strokes and marks, I build up a strong visual rhythm and movement across large-scale surfaces. Through a gradual build up of the repeated mark I establish movement and progression; minute changes can determine, advance or arrest the flow; the implication of time passing being embodied in the activity itself."
