'Blooming London Series - Madder', is an original drawing in coloured pencil on paper. "The drawing Madder forms part of a larger series of drawings titled the 'Blooming London Series', where different geographical boundary maps of London determine the final shape of the 'bloom'. Cities are often spoken as living breathing organisms and my thoughts for these drawings were that each could be interpreted as both external and internal landscapes. Each drawing in this series is coloured using a different shade of red, giving each its specific title.".
