'The Great Day of His Wrath (Sunday Morning)', original art work in charcoal, pencil crayon, acrylic resin and oil on polyester, on box canvas. "This is part of a series "Competitive world" which is inspired by, and relates to the art world. The work has a very skull-like feel, almost like bleached bones long forgotten in the desert. The title refers to both a painting by John Martin (which can be seen in the Tate Britain) and a Velvet Underground song. I often mix art and pop culture references in the titles of my works, to suggest a new meanings. In this case taking something originally dealing with the apocalypse (the John Martin painting), and making it seem more like a comment on a bad hangover."
