"The painting is like a coaster, a clue, evidence of that night. 

I wanted to reference Rorschach’s ink blotch tests.  I wanted to create what at first looked like a spill on a coaster or table cloth but was in fact an image.

I was reminiscing, the day after Drea’s wedding we cruised on her brother’s boat. It was glamorous and windy."
