"I painted a similar image once before - it was much bigger. It was actually of a slightly different scene, featuring more bridges, but again with simple colors and paying homage to the beauty of municipal features. Then I sold it, which is great. But I missed it. I like the message, that even freeways and municipal water management systems have their beauty.

So I painted it again. This time, because I had worked on something similar, I think it turned out even better with more confident lines..."
